When you bring your pet to the kennels, these are helpful suggestions for you to consider...
Collar
It is recommended that your pet wears a simple flat collar.
Identity tag
It is very important that your pet has an identity tag, with the relevant details displayed on it.
Comforter
Your pet will settle a lot more quickly if they have a favourite toy or blanket to help it feel more like home.
Diet
If you pet is on a special diet you can either bring your own food, or let us know what they are eating. We have various foods in stock, just let us know.
Contact name
It is helpful to have a contact name & number of someone who can be contacted in your absence. Possibly a friend or family member.
Vet
It is important to give us the name and contact number for your vet in case of an emergency or sudden illness.
Medical
Details of any medical condition should be carefully explained & instructions regarding any medication should be given to the kennel staff, preferably in writing.
Vaccinations
If you can bring any current vaccination certificate & we also strongly recommend that all dogs have a kennel cough vaccine prior to coming into kennels. This should be done at least 5 days but preferably 14 days before.
Dates
The kennel staff need confirmation of boarding dates, along with date & time expected for collection.
Pet’s name
It is important that you let us know your pet’s name when you drop them off, as this helps your pet respond to the kennel staff. It will help us establish a rapport with your pet.
