MAES GWYN BOARDING KENNELS ARE COVID SECURE

We are open as normal for boarding kennel services.

 

There is no evidence of Coronavirus circulating in pets or other animals in the UK and there is nothing to suggest animals may transmit the disease to humans.

 

However, there is some suggestion that the virus can be transferred on the coat or fur of animals and on equipment associated with animals such as dog leads.

 

In line with the general advice on fighting Coronavirus, you should wash your hands regularly, including before and after contact with animals.

 

BEFORE YOUR DOG(S) ARRIVAL

 

If you have symptoms of Covid-19 or have been instructed to self-isolate, you MUST NOT visit Maes Gwyn Boarding Kennels. Please contact the Kennels for further advice.

 

Confirm Your Drop Off Time

 

  • To reduce the amount of people that are on our premise at any given time we will be staggering all drop off and collections times. 

 

On Arrival At Maes Gwyn Boarding Kennels

 

  • Once you have arrived you may find the front gate closed. You will need to call us to confirm you have arrived on 01745 560361.

  • Upon arrival, please remain in your car until directed by a member of the kennel staff

 

Please Note:

  • The site is extremely busy due to North Clwyd Animal Rescue being on the same premises.

  • We ask whenever possible that only one family member visit the kennels and they MUST wear a FACE COVERING and maintain a safe social distance.

  • Check in and Check Out will now be by appointment only to avoid a build-up of cars and people and pets in the parking area.

  • Strict social distancing will be observed when pets are handed over. Our staff will guide you through this process.

  • Staff will wear masks and gloves when interacting with customers.

  • Pets may be wiped down with a pet safe disposable cloth upon arrival and before departure and pet carriers will also be sanitised upon arrival and before departure. 

  • Collars and harnesses will be disinfected upon arrival and again before departure.
